ALTERNATIVE Partners at Workshop” Bioengineering for Biofabrication”

On 16th Feb 2024, project ALTERNATIVE partners presented and participated at the workshop organized by the Università di Pavia in the framework of the BioPrinting Winter School 2024, titled as ‘Bioengineering for Biofabrication’. This was a great platform for dissemination for the project as the project has Bio-fabrication aspect as the core in the development of the cardiac model. Partners from Polytechnic di Torino Monica Boffito gave a keynote talk on “Combining 3D printing technologies and customized materials to engineer in-vitro tissue models” which created a lot of interest among the audience. PhD student Maria Antonia Cassa presented on “BIOMIMETIC ECM-LIKE NANOSTRUCTURED COATING FOR 3D PRINTED AGED CARDIAC TISSUE MODEL”, which led to engaging discussions around the topic. Overall it was a fruitful participation that aroused interest in project ALTERNATIVE.
