Project ALTERNATIVE contributes at PARERE

From May 29, 2024 Project #ALTERNATIVE Partner Dr. Martin Paperalla, group leader at Medical University Innsbruck (MUI), participated at the recent European PARERE meeting. He gave a brief update on the ‘ALTERNATIVE’ project and delved into science-regulatory exchange with the participants at with PARERE meeting.

In addition he also contributes to the policy brief, that supports the EC roadmap towards an animal free regulatory system. The overall outreach of this meeting included about 30 European regulators and experts at the science-regulatory interface. The meeting lasted in total 4 hours and included updates on the development and validation of Non Animal Methods from several member states and from EC.
