ALTERNATIVE promotes community building at “Just the Woman I Am” 2025

From March 7-9, 2025, the heart of Turin beat stronger than ever as thousands gathered at Piazza Castello for the 12th edition of “Just the Woman I Am” (JTWIA)—a landmark event dedicated to supporting university research on health and cancer.

Among the key contributors to this inspiring event was the Partners from ALTERNATIVE project, from Politecnico di Torino, led by Prof. Ciardelli, who actively engaged with the public at the Villaggio della Prevenzione e della Salute. At the Politecnico di Torino stand, visitors explored cutting-edge research projects, including the ALTERNATIVE project, which aims to revolutionize risk assessment for cardiotoxic chemicals.

By bringing science closer to the community,the team reinforced their commitment to innovation, well-being, and public engagement.
