Advancing our understanding of chemicals on cardiovascular health
On 28th Oct 2024, EU funded project ALTERNATIVE Success story is published in the Research and innovation section of the European commission website via the Green deal Projects support office. The success story covers how the project ALTERNATIVE addresses the challenge of assessments of chemicals based on their toxicity, potential health risks etc, particularly in cardiovascular safety and develops an innovative platform that enhances the assessment of chemical cardiotoxicity. This new approach enables regulators and industry stakeholders to identify and manage cardiotoxic risks more effectively, reducing the reliance on animal testing and improving safety.
